Emma Willis<\/strong> is opening up about a recent health scare.<\/p>\nWillis, 49, shared via Instagram on Wednesday, April 23, that she underwent keyhole heart surgery in London after doctors discovered a hole in her heart.<\/p>\n
\u201cA few weeks ago, I had keyhole heart surgery, which feels very strange to write, and even stranger when I say it out loud. From investigations last year, to diagnosis and then surgery, they were absolutely incredible. As was @mattjwillis who never left my side \ud83d\udc95,\u201d the television presenter said, thanking staff at London\u2019s Royal Brompton Hospital and her husband and Love Is Blind UK<\/em> cohost, Matt Willis<\/strong>.<\/p>\nWillis added, \u201cTurns out, I\u2019ve been pottering around for 48 years blissfully unaware I had a hole in my heart \ud83e\udd2f isn\u2019t it bonkers what\u2019s happening in our bodies that we have no idea about\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Willis went on to individually thank some of the medical staff who helped her overcome her health scare.<\/p>\n

Catrina<\/strong>, Carl<\/strong> and Tim who kept me at ease and humoured me when they were putting me to sleep,\u201d she shared. \u201cMarcus<\/strong>, Janet<\/strong>, Jayne<\/strong>, Hannah<\/strong> and Reem<\/strong> who monitored me at various points. Paulette<\/strong>, who was always up for a chat, gave great hugs, and loves a cinnamon slice as much as I do!\u201d<\/p>\n
