John Cena<\/strong><\/a> is coming clean about getting a hair transplant.<\/p>\n

The wrestler and actor, 47, confirmed he decided to see a doctor after WWE<\/a> fans \u201cripped [him] to shreds\u201d over his thinning hair.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s another headline for ya: hair transplant,\u201d Cena said<\/a> on the Monday, April 21, episode of ESPN\u2019s The Pat McAfee Show<\/em>, less than 24 hours after defeating Cody Rhodes<\/strong><\/a> to win his record 17th world championship at WrestleMania 41.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no shame in that, man,\u201d Cena continued. \u201cI got a problem, I tried to fix it. I\u2019m working on it. I saw so many bald spot signs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJohn Cena and wife Shay Shariatzadeh\u2019s low-profile relationship made their October 2020 wedding all the more surprising. The pair were initially linked in March 2019 when they were spotted holding hands after a dinner date in Canada. The relationship marked the first time Cena had been spotted on a date since his engagement to Nikki [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cena said that he got the procedure, in which follicles are removed from part of the head and reinserted where the hair is thinning, in November 2024. At the 2025 Royal Rumble<\/em><\/a> event in January, the star said he had \u201chalf a skinhead up here,\u201d as the new follicles were still growing, and was taunted by fans.<\/p>\n

Cena\u2019s victory makes him a 17-time world champion, breaking a tie with Ric Flair<\/strong> for the most world titles.<\/p>\n
