Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a> star Kyle Richards\u2019<\/strong><\/a> sexuality has been a topic of conversation ever since her friendship with Morgan Wade<\/strong><\/a> sparked speculation online, and the reality star revealed that she and her daughters had an emotional conversation about it.<\/p>\n \u201cIt had gotten to that point where it was something that I needed to address with my daughters,\u201d Kyle, 56, said during part 3 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> season 14 reunion. \u201cAnd I wasn\u2019t quite sure myself, to be honest. That\u2019s not something you just wake up one day and go, \u2018Oh!\u2019 It was a strange feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n The Halloween<\/em> star continued, \u201cHonestly, it was just a really proud moment for me as a mom, how my daughters reacted.\u201d<\/p>\n When reunion host Andy Cohen<\/strong> asked if Kyle\u2019s daughters \u201csupported her,\u201d she replied, \u201cOh my gosh, beyond. It was a very uncomfortable, hard conversation to have. You know, I wanted them to be always proud of me.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bravolebrity choked up as she admitted that she didn\u2019t want to \u201cembarrass\u201d her daughters, Farrah, 36, Alexia, 28, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17. However, when Kyle\u2019s older sister Kathy Hilton<\/strong> chimed in to explain that her daughters, Paris Hilton<\/strong> and Nicky Hilton<\/strong>, didn\u2019t think Kyle\u2019s sexuality was a big deal, Kyle shut Kathy\u2019s comments down.<\/p>\n \u201cJust let me talk to this only, please,\u201d Kyle snapped. \u201cI love you, but I need you to let only me speak to this.\u201d<\/p>\n Kathy, 66, explained that she was \u201ctrying to help,\u201d and the mom of four said she \u201cdidn\u2019t want any help with this.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a hard thing to talk about,\u201d Kyle said, getting back on track. \u201cThey were all very supportive, but Portia stood up and she came over and she put her arms around me, and she said, \u2018I love you and there\u2019s nothing you could say that would make us not love you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Andy, 56, noted that his dad said something similar when he \u201ccame out to him,\u201d but Kyle quickly clarified that she wasn\u2019t coming out and instead said she was \u201chaving questions.\u201d Kyle concluded that her daughters\u2019 response gave her the \u201cfreedom\u201d to make choices that make her happy as she moves forward.<\/p>\n Rumors began swirling about Kyle\u2019s relationship with Morgan<\/a>, 30, after she and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky<\/strong>, announced their split<\/a> in July 2023. Morgan\u2019s music video for her song \u201cFall in Love With Me\u201d featured Kyle in a romantic role, which only fueled the speculation that the two might be more than friends.<\/p>\n Despite the ongoing whispers, Kyle has continued to dodge questions about the nature of her and the country singer\u2019s relationship. During part 2 of the RHOBH<\/em> season 14 reunion, Kyle claimed she didn\u2019t speak about Morgan because she \u201cdidn\u2019t want to be a part\u201d of the Bravo show\u2019s fandom. However, Andy had no problem calling Kyle out<\/a> on what he felt was a double standard.<\/p>\n \u201cI do just want to point out, putting out a music video that is, like, the two of you as lovers, it contributed so mightily to a conversation that was already a runaway train, and that was totally in her hands,\u201d he stated. \u201cIt\u2019s like, at some point, you can\u2019t have your cake and eat it too.
