It\u2019s official! Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> alum Kristen Doute<\/strong><\/a> has confirmed she\u2019s in a relationship with<\/a> her \u201cSex, Love, and What Else Matters\u201d<\/a> podcast cohost Luke Broderick<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cLuke and I are f\u2013king dating, you guys,\u201d Kristen, 39,\u00a0 revealed on the show\u2019s Wednesday, December 21, episode. The former Bravo star continued. \u201cAll of my friends who have listened to our podcast were like, \u2018Yeah, it sounds really obvious.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Kristen and her former boyfriend of two years, Alex Menache<\/strong>, split in June 2022<\/a>, and she said that she fought with herself about jumping into another romance so soon.<\/p>\n \u201cI battled with being, like, your person. I love you so much, but just the thought of being someone\u2019s girlfriend again threw me through a loop because I want to be a wife and I want to be a mother<\/a>,\u201d the former reality star told Luke. \u201cMost of all, I just want to be a mother and a partner. And I was so tired of being a girlfriend<\/a> for a couple of years and then having s\u2013t fall apart,\u201d referring to her romance with Alex.<\/p>\n Luke, 31, backed up Kristen\u2019s claims, saying, \u201cYou tried really hard not to fall in love with me and not to let this become a thing because of my age, because of the distance, because of these factors that when you think about it logically, like, how can this work?\u201d Kristen lives in California while Luke calls Colorado home<\/p>\n There was another stumbling block, which is Kristen\u2019s love of animals.\n<\/p>\n \u201cLuke loves to hunt and fish. I am an animal advocate. I\u2019ve been a vegetarian since I was 11 years old. And that truly was the one thing that was, like, a little difficult for me in the beginning,\u201d the Michigan native explained,<\/p>\n Kristen added that she was able to \u201coverlook\u201d his fondness for hunting because he wasn\u2019t a \u201ccheating, lying, bastard piece of s\u2013t<\/a>\u201d like other men she\u2019s been involved with over the years. In addition to Alex, Kristen dated her\u00a0Vanderpump Rules<\/em>\u00a0costars\u00a0Tom Sandoval<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0James Kennedy<\/strong>, as well as\u00a0Brian Carter<\/strong>, although Kristen said she and Brian were still \u201cgreat friends\u201d following their 2019 split.<\/p>\n Kristen and Alex began dating in the spring of 2020 amid the COVID-19 quarantine after being part of the same circle of friends. She discussed their split in a June 21, 2022, Instagram post. \u201cMoving day is hard. Leaving memories behind is even harder<\/a>. Sending anyone having a DAY like this lots of love,\u201d Kristen wrote, adding in a separate slide, \u201cWe had so many awesome memories \u2026 as heavy as it is, my current mood is gratitude.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
