Actor Alec, 67, shared the memory involving his 11-year-old daughter Carmen Gabriela Baldwin on his reality show, recalling the moment she inadvertently startled an entire crew of electricians during the festive event. <\/p>\n
He told her in a new episode of \u2018The Baldwins\u2019: \u201cYou completely threw off the whole Christmas tree lighting, gave 100 men a heart attack, and you\u2019re like, \u2018I don\u2019t care\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
The actor was speaking alongside Carmen during a confessional on the family\u2019s TLC reality series, as they looked back on the night she was invited to press the ceremonial button to light the Christmas tree at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. <\/p>\n
Alec added: \u201cYou lit the Christmas tree in 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The button is a gag button. It\u2019s a prop button. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt doesn\u2019t actually turn the tree on, but you hit the button, and the guys are ready. They\u2019re all standing by to cue the lights.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe continued: \u201cCarmen goes bang, and she hits the button, and you can see all these guys are going, \u2018The kid hit the button.\u2019 <\/p>\n
\n\u201cYou\u2019ve completely freaked out, like 100 union electrical employees.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nCarmen, laughing beside him, added: \u201cI don\u2019t care. It\u2019s not my fault Ava and Ali didn\u2019t believe me.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\u2018The Baldwins\u2019 which documents the lives of Alec and his wife Hilaria Baldwin, 41, and their seven children. <\/p>\n
\nAlec and the influencer married in 2012 and have since had kids Carmen, Mar\u00eda Luc\u00eda Victoria, Ilaria Catalina Irena, Rafael Thomas, Leonardo \u00c1ngel Charles, Romeo Alejandro David, and Eduardo \u2018Edu\u2019 Pao Lucas. <\/p>\n
\nAlec is also father to 28-year-old Ireland Baldwin, from his previous marriage to actor Kim Basinger.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking in a 2023 interview with Romper, Hilaria said Ilaria is \u201cprobably, most definitely, almost completely\u201d her last child. <\/p>\n
\nReflecting on his experience as a father over the decades, Alec noted the shift in his parenting approach between raising Ireland in his late-30s and becoming a father again in his mid-50s. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThings have changed so much,\u201d he said on an earlier episode of \u2018The Baldwins\u2019. <\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cEverything has changed. I think when you\u2019re her age and you have kids, and you get older, you get tougher. For me, as I\u2019m getting older and older, and I don\u2019t want to be tougher. I don\u2019t want to be anything. I just want to be a father to my kids.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI want to just watch and see what the years I have left give us to experience and not have it be about me.\u201d<\/p>\n
