Responding to each rumor is a fool\u2019s game,\u201d the athlete told the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/sport\/article\/2024\/jun\/11\/golf-us-open-rory-mcilroy-divorce-off\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Guardian<\/a><\/em> in a statement last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together.
