But this time, things are a little different. Tori isn\u2019t negging her husband\u2019s attire or opening up about how hard it is to be a parent.<\/p>\n

But Tori had real questions about her children\u2019s safety. Just a few days ago, Tori was looking at the family\u2019s freshly renovated patio. There, she spotted a snake enjoying the sunlight.<\/p>\n
Naturally, as a mother of three, she began to worry. So she took to her Instagram Story to ask followers if this snake is \u201charmful\u201d or \u201charmless\u201d to humans. And, specifically, to her precious children.<\/p>\nOn her Instagram Story in late April, Tori Roloff anxiously asked followers if this very chill snake represented a danger to her family. (Image Credit: Instagram)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nThe patio is certainly impressive. It boasts a porch swing, a circular rug to bring the space to life, and a well-positioned wooden armchair. One could sit there, enthroned, and survey the expansive lawn.<\/p>\n
But the snake is not an intentional part of the decor.<\/p>\n
Is this merely a serpentine guest, or a lethal pest? Tori was fortunately able to crowdsource the answer from her nearly 2 million followers.<\/p>\nZach and Tori Roloff shared this lovely family photo in honor of the Easter holiday in 2023.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nThere is some very good news on that front:<\/p>\n
According to basically everyone who replied, and also to our (admittedly non-herpetologist) eyes, that is a garter snake.<\/p>\n
Also known by a few other names, garter snakes are not considered dangerous to humans. They are not constrictors and are not venomous in a way that is dangerous to humans. (The sole exception being rare <\/em>allergic reactions)<\/p>\nTaking to social media, Tori Roloff posed with her kids, Jackson Roloff and Lilah Roloff. It looks like they had fun at an Easter event. Tori and Zach have more financial resources than the majority of Americans. This means that they can do more to secure their home against certain pests \u2014 and can do it safely.<\/p>\n
But anxiety about a snake brazenly sunning on their porch is understandable. This time, however, it\u2019s good news \u2014 because garter snakes do sometimes eat small pests. Often, this means insects and very small rodents.<\/p>\nTori, Zach and their kids look beyond adorable in this family portrait, don\u2019t they?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nFollowing up her poll, Tori announced the species of the snake to her followers \u2014 based upon their own declarations.<\/p>\n
She admitted that it\u2019s not dangerous, but joked that a garter snake is \u201cNot [harmful] unless inflicting a heart attack upon the finder of said snake.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tori then commented: \u201cYou\u2019re not welcome under my chair thank you very much!\u201d That is fair. And it\u2019s not a safe place for the snake, either.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
