While reflecting on his friendship with Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a> creator Lorne Michaels<\/strong><\/a>, Alec Baldwin<\/strong><\/a> shared a surprising fact about his relationship with Hilaria Baldwin<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the Sunday, April 13, episode of The Baldwins<\/em>, Alec, 67, reflected on his connection with Michaels, 80, saying, \u201cLorne is in love with my wife more than we are friends. He loves my wife and he is so kind to my family. We love him and spend Thanksgiving with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cIt is safe to say he is such a good friend and he has been so kind to me. He has embraced me in my work and put me on that show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilaria, 41, joined in to say they \u201clove\u201d<\/a> Michaels\u2019 wife, Alice Barry. She also highlighted Alec\u2019s love for Saturday Night Live<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhile Saturday Night Live has birthed countless original characters over the years, the sketch comedy show has a rich history of parodying real people. Some celebrities are good sports about being made fun of on national television, while others aren\u2019t so appreciative. Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin seemed like she was in on the joke [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI see it when you are with other actors or you are with your friends at SNL. It lights up and you are so happy,\u201d she explained. \u201cYou thrive off sharing energy with people. You love connection with people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hilaria elaborated in a confessional, adding, \u201cWhen I see him with his friends at SNL, he was on 30 Rock and with Lorne Michaels, those are his people.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insight into Alec\u2019s career comes<\/a> after he contemplated his next steps. Alec, who appeared on SNL<\/em> from 2016 to 2020 before returning four years later, previously admitted he wasn\u2019t sure whether to return to acting following the Rust<\/em> shooting. In January 2023, Alec was charged with involuntary manslaughter following cinematographer Halyna Hutchins<\/strong>\u2018 death on set. The actor was holding the prop gun that was fired on the movie set in October 2021, which killed Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza<\/strong>, but he has insisted he\u2019s not responsible for the incident.<\/p>\n

Baldwin pleaded not guilty, and the charges were dropped in April 2023<\/a>, but he was indicted again in connection with the death of Hutchins. The second case was ultimately dismissed by the judge, and Baldwin has since filed a lawsuit accusing the prosecution team of malicious prosecution and civil rights violations.<\/p>\n

Before the reality series debuted in February, Alec, 66, and Hilaria\u2019s candid quotes about the tragic incident were featured in the official trailer. \u201cThe past three years has been a significant chunk of my children\u2019s lives,\u201d Hilaria, who shares six kids with Alec, shared during The Baldwins<\/em>\u2018 series premiere. \u201cOur older ones were much younger, but have had the awareness because of their age to be able to understand what\u2019s going on. The youngest three don\u2019t know a life without this.\u201d<\/p>\n
