Brandon Sklenar<\/strong><\/a> is not letting the trolls get to him.<\/p>\n

Sklenar, 34, and Meghann Fahy<\/strong> were discussing their new film, Drop<\/em>, in a video MTV posted via Instagram<\/a> on Friday, April 11. In the comments section, one user referred to Sklenar as \u201cWalmart Glen Powell<\/strong><\/a>\u201d and the actor had the perfect comeback.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho doesn\u2019t love a bargain?\u201d Sklenar replied.<\/p>\n

The user was seemingly surprised to get a response from Sklenar but was impressed by his quick wit.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBrandon Sklener and Meghann Fahy\u2019s latest movie proves first dates can truly be a nightmare. On Wednesday, January 22, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse debuted the first trailer for the highly anticipated thriller, Drop. The film tells the story of a widowed mother named Violet (Fahy) who embarks on her first date in years with Henry [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cRlly don\u2019t know u from any movies yet but you\u2019ve just gained a supporter \ud83e\udd23,\u201d the troll replied.<\/p>\n

While the social media user isn\u2019t familiar with Sklenar\u2019s resume, he has been in a series of recent successful projects, including the Yellowstone<\/em> spinoff 1923<\/em><\/a>. He also starred in the box office hit It Ends With Us<\/em><\/a>, alongside Blake Lively<\/strong> and Justin Baldoni<\/strong>. Sklenar played Atlas, a childhood friend and love interest for Lively\u2019s character.<\/p>\n

Following It Ends With Us<\/a><\/em>, Sklenar signed on to star in Drop<\/em> alongside Fahy, 34. The thriller follows Fahy\u2019s character, a widow and survivor of domestic abuse, as she goes on a date with a new love interest played by Sklenar. However, the date goes awry after Fahy receives a series of AirDrops to her phone, forcing her to complete tasks in order to save her daughter. The project is helmed by Christopher Landon<\/strong>, who also directed Happy Death Day<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was after It Ends with Us<\/em>, and 1923<\/em> [season 2] had pushed for some reason. So I was eager to keep working when Drop came along, and it just seemed like a great opportunity and a great acting exercise,\u201d Sklenar said of the film in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> published on Thursday, April 10. \u201cIt was also a chance to work with Chris, and I love his films: Freaky<\/em>, Happy Death Day<\/em>, and We Have a Ghost<\/em>. That was a fun movie. I\u2019m just a big horror-thriller fan.\u201d<\/p>\n
