The Bachelor Nation alums recapped the Monday, March 3, episode of The Bachelor on the Tuesday, March 4, episode of the \u201cBachelor Happy Hour\u201d podcast [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
While Litia was confident, she did note that Grant could\u2019ve been \u201cpeople pleasing.\u201d When she arrived for the proposal, however, she thought he would definitely pick her if he didn\u2019t stop her when she went to speak. (The Bachelor or Bachelorette often prevents their runner-up from declaring their love on finale day, but that\u2019s not always the case.)<\/p>\n
\u201cI stood there and I was like, \u2018If it\u2019s not me, he won\u2019t let me speak.\u2019 After everything that he said, hopefully he would just let me know before I do my big declaration \u2014 he knows what I\u2019m about to say,\u201d Litia said. \u201cAnd we stood there for a minute, and he was like, \u2018They told me to let you talk first.\u2019 He, like, prompted me to give my speech. And so I was like, \u2018Oh, OK, like, great. I\u2019ll just say everything that I need to say.’\u201d<\/p>\n\n<\/div>

\u201cThere\u2019s, like, a million things the whole time why I thought it was gonna go a different way, but that was the part to me, on the drive away from the breakup, I was like, \u2018He asked me to give the speech,\u2019\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
One of Litia\u2019s other sticking points on the finale was that Grant had given her a journal to write down her feelings during the process, claiming he said he wanted them to read it together post-show. (Juliana, 28, has since said that Grant also gave her a journal.)<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know everyone\u2019s conversations with him. \u2026 Why would you give multiple women journals and ask them to write down all their feelings for you so you can read through it at the end? Why would you ask multiple women to do that?\u201d Litia said on the podcast. \u201cThat seems to me like a stroke of the ego, so that you know everyone is really dwelling and sitting in this Grant, Kool-Aid world.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then revealed that their breakup conversation lasted \u201c45 minutes,\u201d which is rare for The Bachelor.<\/em><\/p>\n\u201cTypically, what I\u2019ve been told is, it\u2019s, like, a five minute conversation. They want it to be quick,\u201d she said. \u201cHe was standing there talking at me. Me saying, like, \u2018Come on now.\u2019 I was, like, looking for him. Like, \u2018Where are you? Wait, what? Come on, come back.\u2019 It\u2019s not me, but have a conversation with me about it and actually talk to me. And it was just him trying to manage my perception of him more than him walking me through how he got there.\u201d<\/p>\n
