\t\t<\/p>\n Some of Broadway\u2019s biggest stars and some of the stars of the Smash<\/em> television show were among the opening night guests for Smash<\/strong><\/a><\/em> on Broadway!<\/p>\n Kristin Chenoweth<\/strong><\/a> and Sarah Jessica Parker<\/strong><\/a> are among the celebs who walked the red carpet for the opening night performance on Thursday (April 10) at the Imperial Theatre in New York City.<\/p>\n SJP<\/strong> was joined by her husband Matthew Broderick<\/strong><\/a> and their 15-year-old twin daughters Marion <\/strong>and Tabitha<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Debra Messing<\/strong><\/a>, Christian Borle<\/strong><\/a>, and Wesley Taylor<\/strong><\/a>, who were all featured on the NBC series Smash<\/em>, stepped out to watch the new stage version. The musical is inspired by the series and is not a direct adaptation.<\/p>\n More celebs who attended the event included Nathan Lane<\/strong><\/a>, Billy Crystal<\/strong><\/a>, Julianna Margulies<\/strong><\/a>, Victor Garber<\/strong><\/a>, Yvette Nicole Brown<\/strong><\/a>, Andrew Rannells<\/strong><\/a>, Jordan Roth<\/strong><\/a> (who had a cameo on the TV show), Amanda Kloots<\/strong><\/a>, and Patti Murin<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n The musical features many of the songs that you know and love from the TV series, plus new material written for the stage show.
