Two Ts in a Pod<\/em> podcast<\/a>, Teddi Mellencamp spoke to co-host Tamra Judge about a serious, important topic.<\/p>\nShe revealed that her father, famed musician John Mellencamp, has been calling her repeatedly. <\/p>\n
He has been wanting to have an important, albeit morbid in every sense, conversation with her.<\/p>\n
\u201cFinally, I answer, I\u2019m like, \u2018I\u2019m in the bath. Let me live a little,\u2019\u201d Teddi described. \u201cHe goes, \u2018I just want to make sure you\u2019re going to be in our group family mausoleum.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
After John Mellencamp broached the topic, Teddi revealed that she wondered about the future.<\/p>\n
Would the family mausoleum also have space for her children. <\/p>\n
Slate is 12, Cruz is 10, and Dove is 5.<\/p>\n
At some point, in the very distant future, she\u2019d like for their remains to reside near hers.<\/p>\nDuring a 2020 episode of \u2018The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,\u2019 Teddi Mellencamp dazzled viewers despite being on her way out of the franchise. (Image Credit: Bravo)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nAre these burial plans feasible?<\/h2>\n \u201cHe\u2019s like, \u2018Well, there\u2019s going to be the top five and then we\u2019re gonna have little areas around it, and then that\u2019s where everyone\u2019s going to get buried,\u2019\u201d Teddi recalled.<\/p>\n
Continuing to describe the talk with her father, she added: \u201cHe goes, \u2018You\u2019re doing your will right now, so you may as well put it in there.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Teddi shared that she agreed with her father\u2019s wishes. Additionally, she shared plans to travel to Indiana to visit the site in person.<\/p>\n
In a moment of levity, Teddi joked that she would like to have the quote, \u201cHot girls never die,\u201d engraved upon her tombstone.<\/p>\n
(That quote became the title of that podcast episode)<\/p>\n
Teddi presumably does not intend for her ex to be part of the mausoleum. <\/p>\n
Though she shares her three children with Edwin Arroyave, the two split just six months ago, in October 2024 \u2014 following 14 years of marriage.<\/p>\nIt looks like Teddi Mellencamp wasn\u2019t sure what to make of what she and the other RHOBH ladies were hearing. However, in February, doctors found tumors growing in her brain.<\/p>\n
Though brain surgery<\/a> was able to remove four tumors<\/a>, they \u201chad been growing for at least six months.\u201d There were others in her brain and lungs.<\/p>\nAs we previously reported, Teddi shared that these growths \u201care all a direct result of my melanoma.\u201d<\/p>\n
Now, she is fighting for her life \u2014 and having difficult conversations with loved ones as she prepares for the worst<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
