The reboot, which reunites Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton and Daphne Zuniga, is currently being shopped to networks and streamers, according to Deadline. The official description teases that the new series would pick up years after the original. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Despite her early exit, Locane would say yes to reuniting on screen with Heather Locklear<\/strong>, Laura Leighton<\/strong> and Daphne Zuniga<\/strong>, who are set to reprise their roles as Amanda Woodward<\/a>, Sydney Andrews and Jo Reynolds, respectively, in the reboot, which was announced in April 2024.<\/p>\n\u201cI would do it in a heartbeat,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n
The Cry-Baby<\/em> actress walked away from showbiz in 2006, which she reveals could have been the catalyst for a bout with depression. \u201cThere was a void in my life because I had [acted] for so long,\u201d Locane recalls.<\/p>\nFollowing her time away from Hollywood, Locane was incarcerated from 2013 to 2015<\/a> for a DWI crash in 2010 that killed a 60-year-old woman. At the time of her arrest, she was convicted of second-degree vehicular homicide and assault.<\/p>\nFive years after her release, she was sent back to prison from 2020 to 2024 after her first sentence was deemed too lenient. Locane has been a free woman since December 2024, and she tells Us<\/em>, her life has been forever changed<\/a>.<\/p>\nWorking through her \u201cguilt,\u201d Locane says there isn\u2019t a day that goes by when she doesn\u2019t think about the accident: \u201cTo this day, I have a lot of remorse. It\u2019s a very, very, very heavy, heavy reality to live with,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen I\u2019m praying or when I do daily devotionals every morning, I just try to keep her in mind,\u201d Locane reveals. \u201cAnd that acknowledgement makes me feel like I am aware of her and my day.\u201d<\/p>\n
