With only two days until The White Lotus<\/em><\/a> season 3 finale, fans of the hit series are dying to know how creator Mike White<\/strong> wraps everything up. However, some of the cast this season said that some viewers might not be happy with the ending.<\/p>\n \u201cPeople are going to hate Mike White,\u201d Charlotte Le Bon<\/strong>, who plays Chloe, joked during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> published on Wednesday, April 2.<\/p>\n Jon Gries<\/strong><\/a>, the only cast member to appear in all three seasons of The White Lotus<\/em> as Greg Hunt (who now goes by Gary), promised that \u201cwhatever you think you know, you\u2019re going to get it wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n While Patrick Schwarzenegger<\/strong><\/a> said he\u2019s simply \u201cexcited to watch the finale with the rest of the world because [he] actually [has] no idea what happens,\u201d Parker Posey<\/strong> said she doesn\u2019t remember the identity of the victim.<\/p>\n \u201cI forgot who died. It was so stressful when I read it. The dark stuff<\/a>, I blazed through,\u201d Parker, 56, told the publication.<\/p>\n Natasha Rothwell<\/strong>, who plays Belinda Lindsey in the series<\/a>, was surprised to learn how much her character had resonated with fans and said that \u201chotel and spa staff come up to [her] like, \u2018Thank you so much for representation. We have to deal with some crazy guests, and you show how much we have to hold it in. They better not kill you!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n As for Mike? \u201cMy hope is that it\u2019ll feel like a cathartic sad or a satisfying sad and not a \u2018What the f\u2013k?\u2019 sad, but people are going to have a million different opinions,\u201d the White Lotus<\/em> creator, 54, explained. \u201cYou just hope you stick the landing.\u201d<\/p>\n That\u2019s not to say the time Mike spent working on the show in season 3 hasn\u2019t had its ups and downs<\/a>. There were times on set that were less than ideal. (Parker and Sam Nivola<\/strong> were hit with food poisoning while filming that led to hospital visits, the Dazed and Confused<\/em> star told The Standard<\/em><\/a>.) However, the School of Rock<\/em> actor revealed it was still hard leaving season 3 behind.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be honest, I\u2019m a bit of a head case right now. I\u2019m crying in my car. This show is my whole life, then it\u2019s over and I\u2019m back in my house with my dog, trying to remember who my friends are and what did I do before the show,\u201d Mike said. \u201cI don\u2019t want to become one of those crazy people who\u2019s lost the plot. I had to take these MMPI psych tests, and they were like, \u2018You\u2019ve become one standard deviation less nice than you were in 2018.\u2019 Yep, that sounds right.\u201d<\/p>\n With only one episode left, The White Lotus<\/em> season 3 still has plenty of storylines to wrap up, but the finale will clock in at over an hour, which hopefully gives the characters time to solve some of their problems.<\/p>\n Mike told THR<\/em>, \u201cIt\u2019s an hour and a half. It\u2019s kind of epic. As a filmmaker, it\u2019s probably the piece of work that I\u2019m like, \u2018I can\u2019t believe I did that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
