Morgan Wallen<\/strong><\/a> vented about the hardships of being famous and how it has changed his life following his controversial walk-off the Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a> stage before the end credits began rolling.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s parts of that that I don\u2019t like. I think anybody who has to deal with that \u2026 it\u2019s not ideal,\u201d Morgan, 31, said about the downside of bring in the public eye during an appearance on Theo Von<\/strong>\u2018s \u201cThis Past Weekend<\/a>\u201d podcast on Wednesday, April 2, revealing that there is a \u201cstress\u201d that comes along with it.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not ideal to go everywhere, and even if you don\u2019t get bothered, you were on edge the whole time because you thought you might be,\u201d he continued. \u201cThere\u2019s things that you just don\u2019t do. There\u2019s just things you don\u2019t do anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cWasted on You\u201d singer said he\u2019s turned to hunting as a way to be with friends outside of the spotlight.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019ve taken up hunting so much, I think. Because I can go be with my buddies, I\u2019m in the middle of nowhere. I can be at ease. I can not stress out. You just find ways to supplement it, I think,\u201d Morgan explained to Theo, 45.<\/p>\n The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year winner said he loves going to bars but that\u2019s no longer an option for him, referring to his 2024 arrest at Eric Church<\/strong>\u2019s Nashville, Tennessee, bar.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s kind of funny, you can\u2019t really go to a bar anymore because there\u2019d be too much hassle. And it\u2019s probably the best thing for you,\u201d Theo pointed out.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, if you\u2019re using a bar as a specific example, that\u2019s definitely the best thing for me,\u201d he laughed. I ain\u2019t been in a bar since the last time I was in a bar that everybody knows about.\u201d<\/p>\n The country superstar took a plea deal<\/a> in his case stemming from an incident where he threw a chair off the roof of Chief\u2019s Bar on April 7, 2024. Morgan was sentenced on December 12, 2024, to seven days in a DUI education center. He was also ordered to pay a $350 fine and put on supervised probation for two years after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment, according to online records viewed by Life & Style<\/em>. He was originally charged with three Class E felonies stemming from his arrest.<\/p>\n Morgan\u2019s appearance on Theo\u2019s podcast came five days after he caused a stir by walking off stage at SNL<\/em> without doing the traditional mingling with cast members as the credits began to roll. The Tennessee native was the musical guest on the March 29 show, hosted by Anora<\/em> star Mikey Madison<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Lip reader Nicola Hickling<\/strong> told Life & Style<\/em> <\/a>on behalf of Slingo<\/a> that she believed Morgan told Mikey, 26, \u201cThank you all so much. I had a wonderful time. Thank you all, mwah mwah mwah.\u201d<\/p>\n The Oscar winner apparently told him, \u201cChatting to you was really good.\u201d Nicola added that SNL<\/em> star Colin Jost<\/strong> seemingly said about Morgan, \u201cYou gotta remember how he is feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cLast Night\u201d singer appeared on SNL<\/em> ahead of the May 16 release of his new album, I\u2019m the Problem<\/em>, but he seemingly couldn\u2019t wait to get out of New York City.<\/p>\n Morgan hinted at his exit while sharing a photo from his private plane via his Instagram Stories. \u201cGet me to God\u2019s country,\u201d he captioned the snapshot, which was uploaded shortly after he walked off stage.<\/p>\n \u201cMorgan is not a people pleaser. I doubt he meant to make a statement by walking off the stage, but he just does what he wants,\u201d a source exclusively told Life & Style<\/em><\/a> on April 2. \u201cAnd he wanted to leave.
