She said during a steamy scene filmed on a swan sculpture bed in the Bond film while she was \u201ccovered in furs\u201d with Pierce, 70, the star admitted she became concerned she was unintentionally waxing his chest.<\/p>\nRosamund added: \u201cWe have this clinch, and then we separate, and I look at this body tape and the nipple covers and they\u2019re covered in hair. And I think, \u2018Oh my God, I\u2019m waxing Pierce\u2019s chest\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was so mortified. I thought, \u2018Oh my God, he\u2019s so brave, and I\u2019m pulling off his chest hair with every embrace.\u2019 <\/p>\n
\u201cAnd of course, it took a couple of takes to realise it was not him. It was the fake fur of the rugs adorning the swan bed. I literally thought I was waxing the poor man\u2019s chest.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRosamund, who was 23 at the time of filming while Brosnan was 49, described the Irish actor as \u201can absolute gent\u201d on the podcast.<\/p>\n
\nShe also reflected on her audition for the role, revealing she had never watched a Bond film before trying out for the part.<\/p>\n
\nRosamund added: \u201cI took my mother\u2019s concert dress to the audition.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nShe believed it was an appropriate and sophisticated choice for a Bond girl.<\/p>\n
\nHowever, upon arrival, she recalled being told: \u201cThat is a very, very lovely dress but Bond girls wear things more like this,\u201d before being presented with \u201ca shimmering sheath\u201d to wear.<\/p>\n
\nThe star previously discussed her audition experience in a 2018 interview with Amazon\u2019s Audible Sessions, stating she had been asked to \u201cdrop my dress and appear in my underwear\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cI just thought if they\u2019re gonna see me in my underwear, they better give me the job. So, I thought, \u2018There\u2019s no way I\u2019m going to take off a dress in the audition for this tape to be sent around Los Angeles and to be judged on that\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
