\u2018The Deer Hunter\u2019 actor, who celebrated the milestone on Monday (31.03.25), reflected on his decades-long career and what lies ahead in a chat with People.<\/p>\n
He declared to the publication about how he was handling the age: \u201cI\u2019m doing what I\u2019ve always done.\u201d<\/p>\n
Christopher, who has starred in an array of acclaimed films and television series, also stressed he doesn’t overthink his future. <\/p>\n
He added: \u201cPeople think that actors make a lot of choices. I\u2019m not sure that they do. I certainly don\u2019t.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI take the job, the next best thing, because that\u2019s what I do. I go to work.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nWhen asked about his future plans, the actor added, \u201cSo what comes next? I have no idea, but I never have. Generally, when I finish a job, I don\u2019t know what\u2019s coming next.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBut he chuckled he was looking forward to \u201cbeing healthy and staying alive\u201d in 2025.<\/p>\n
\nDespite his age, the star\u2019s career is still thriving \u2013 with recent roles in \u2018Dune: Part Two\u2019 and the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series \u2018Severance\u2019.<\/p>\n
\nThe show sees Christopher portrays Burt Goodman, a former employee of Lumon Industries, who develops a complex relationship with Irving Bailiff, played by John Turturro. <\/p>\n
\nFans have applauded the chemistry between the two actors, and Christopher attributes their connection to the decades of friendship they share. <\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI think that the fact that we know each other very well for a long time was very useful.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe didn\u2019t have to struggle to make our relationship real or believable. I think you look at it and you see that John and I know each other, that we like each other.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nApple TV+ recently renewed \u2018Severance\u2019 for a third season, and Christopher is also set to reunite with his \u2018Pulp Fiction\u2019 co-star John Travolta in the upcoming romantic comedy \u2018That\u2019s Amore!\u2019 <\/p>\n
\nWhen not acting, he said he spends his free time watching films from the past.<\/p>\n
\nChristopher added: \u201cI tend to watch a lot of old movies. Maybe it\u2019s just because that\u2019s pretty much all I get on my technology, but yeah, I watch a lot of old movies.\u201d<\/p>\n
