Starting a new chapter! Cameran Eubanks<\/strong><\/a> and Thomas Ravenel<\/strong><\/a> are among the Southern Charm<\/em><\/a> stars who have stepped away from the Bravo hit over the years.<\/a><\/p>\n Viewers were introduced to Eubanks when Southern Charm<\/em> premiered in 2014. The reality series focuses on the personal and professional lives of several socialites<\/a> in Charleston, South Carolina. After participating as a main cast member in six seasons, Eubanks shocked fans when she announced her departure in May 2020.<\/a><\/p>\n That same month, Eubanks shut down claims that she left due to her husband, Jason Wimberly<\/strong>, being unfaithful<\/a>. \u201cIt has come to my attention that insidious rumors are now spreading and fake articles are being written \u2026 some of which pertain to my marriage,\u201d she wrote via Instagram at the time.<\/p>\n While referring to the claims to the rumors as \u201cupsetting,\u201d Eubanks noted that she\u2019s not surprised by them as \u201cthis is what reality television has come to nowadays and a large reason why I kept my marriage off air.\u201d<\/p>\n At the time, the South Carolina native stood by her decision not to return to Southern Charm<\/em><\/a>. \u201cYou must protect what is sacred to you. Some things aren\u2019t worth a big paycheck,\u201d she continued. \u201cWhat upsets me the most is that my husband, who is the most sincere and faithful human I know is being falsely dragged into this. It disgusts me. He always supported me filming the show even though he wanted no part of the spotlight.\u201d<\/p>\n Eubanks added: \u201cI can\u2019t get too upset though because this is what you sign up for when you put your life on reality TV \u2026 and why I\u2019m getting out of it now. Drama is needed to stay relevant on reality television and sadly false rumors about other are sometimes created. Make of that what you will and consider the source.\u201d<\/p>\n Ahead of the show\u2019s eight season, Eubanks explained that she has no plans to come back<\/a>. \u201cIf I was to ever go back on television, it would have to be something boring that didn\u2019t involve fighting or having to talk about people,\u201d she exclusively told Us Weekly in April 2022. \u201cIt would have to be a whole different \u2014 no, I couldn\u2019t do it.\u201d<\/p>\n The former reality star also confirmed she wasn\u2019t approached to make a cameo in season 8<\/a>. \u201cI would go back and do it all over again,\u201d she admitted. \u201cI closed that door and there\u2019s really no need for me to go back. I don\u2019t think it would necessarily serve a purpose. But the show\u2019s doing great.\u201d<\/p>\n
