Michael Patrick King<\/a> of pressuring her into stripping. <\/p>\nShe said on her \u2018Are You a Charlotte?\u2019 podcast: \u201cMichael Patrick (King) forced me to do it.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe kept telling me, \u2018It\u2019ll be fine. It\u2019ll be great.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd it is. But we were in a restaurant. There were people everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKristin admitted to then feeling \u201ca lot of stress about\u201d actually disrobing on camera, and said she laughed off Michael\u2019s insistence for her to take off her top, saying: \u201cIt\u2019s OK. He knows.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking with Jenny Bicks, a writer for the HBO show, Kristin also discussed another challenging moment in season six of \u2018SATC\u2019, when she filmed her first completely nude scene. <\/p>\n
\nThe moment took place during a storyline in which Charlotte converts to Judaism and steps into a mikveh bath. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: “It was a very, very integral part of the storyline. Because it wasn\u2019t sexual \u2013 it\u2019s much easier to have some nudity in a non-sexual way in a spiritual way.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHowever, she described the filming environment as uncomfortable. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cThe director and the (director of photography) and the \u2018video village\u2019 set up \u2013\u00a0because the (assistant director) let it happen \u2013\u00a0where (she) had to walk, and they were smoking cigars.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was like, \u2018Uh, I\u2019m trying to do something here without feeling self-conscious. Could you possibly move all those guys?\u2019 It\u2019s crazy back then what went on.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cEven in a situation where you theoretically did have so much power, all that stuff was still able to happen and you had to be the bad guy and be like, \u2018They can\u2019t smoke cigars literally in my eye line.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDespite the challenges, the actress called the mikveh scene \u201cgorgeous, romantic perfection\u201d and said she was \u201cso happy\u201d she did it. <\/p>\n
\nShe joked: \u201cI was so stressed\u2026 (but) I should have just been running through town with my shirt off.\u201d<\/p>\n
