Frankie Bridge details depression battle<\/p>\n
The 36-year-old ‘Loose Women’ panellist admitted her mental health is suffering at the moment and it is taking her longer than usual to complete her normal routine, such as going to the gym.<\/p>\n
In a candid Instagram video, she told her followers: “I have finally made it down to the gym. It has taken me the whole day to actually get here. ‘My depression is absolutely kicking my a*** and I am so over it.<\/p>\n
“You know when you just feel like you do all the things you’re told to do and then it just always comes back.<\/p>\n
“I’m just so bored of myself, it is so boring. You know, I just think everyone around me must just be so bored of it as well.<\/p>\n
\n“But I am here, I’m gonna try and do as much as I can in the gym, because I know it will make me feel better. And so sitting around, eating s***, which is what I’ve been doing all day, only makes me feel worse.”<\/p>\n
\nFrankie later shared with her fans how much better she felt after her workout.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “So there is not much that a little bit of Paramore and a workout can’t fix.<\/p>\n
\n“I definitely feel a lot better and if I hadn’t come in, I’d have just berated myself even more that I had the whole day that I was able to come to the gym and I just didn’t, and I just sat around and just wallowed in self pity.<\/p>\n
\n“It is what it is, I should just be pleased that I’ve done it. It’s just a little reminder we have bad days. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better one.”<\/p>\n
\nFrankie has been open and honest about her mental health struggles over recent years but she shared last year that she has now developed a better understanding of her illness.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “When you understand that it’s a medical thing, it makes you feel like you’re not just crazy.”<\/p>\n
\nFrankie previously entered a specialist mental health hospital after understanding that she “couldn’t cope with everyday life”.<\/p>\n
\nThe brunette beauty – who is married to former soccer star Wayne Bridge – told BBC Radio 1: “I’d reached a point where I couldn’t cope with everyday life.<\/p>\n
\n“I was constantly crying and telling my partner that I didn’t really want to be here anymore.”<\/p>\n
\nFrankie now feels “proud” with how she copes with her mental health struggles.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I still suffer with depression and anxiety but I just know how to deal with it better now.”<\/p>\n
