During American Idol<\/span><\/i><\/a>\u2019s Season 23 premiere on March 9, new judge <\/span>Carrie Underwood<\/b><\/a> got unexpectedly emotional. Aspiring contestant <\/span>Breanna Nix<\/b> had brought her young son, Emerson, to her audition, and the sleepy child curled up in Carrie\u2019s lap as his mom belted out \u201cJesus Take the Wheel\u201d \u2014 which <\/span>left the tune\u2019s original singer choked up<\/span><\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m sorry, he\u2019s just adorable, it\u2019s sweet,\u201d Carrie, 42, said after the music stopped. \u201cIt got to me.\u201d<\/p>\n No doubt the moment had the country star missing her own family: sons Isaiah, 10, and Jacob, 6, and husband Mike Fisher<\/b><\/a>, 44.
