The biggest news of the last few days was PM Carney’s first phone call with Donald Trump. Carney notably broke with tradition and did not make the US his first call after becoming Prime Minister earlier in March. Instead, he waited for Trump to reach out first and that happened at the end of this week. <\/p>\n

The CBC is reporting today that multiple sources within the CPC are describing Pierre Poilievre’s campaign as “dysfunctional,” “highly disorganised,” and “a mess.” They say there’s no clear master plan, and the campaign is floundering as it tries to come up with a cohesive and effective response to the Trump tariff threat while simultaneously trying to craft a new identity for a party leader that, up until late January, was proudly aligning himself with Trump and the MAGA movement. And, despite the fact Poilievre has been calling for an early election for a year, many campaign staffers had no idea what their roles or responsiblities would be until the writ was dropped last Sunday.<\/p>\n\ud83c\udf41 Lastly, let’s take a quick look at the CBC Poll Tracker…<\/b>
