On March 24, the “Karma” singer and dancer announced the JoJo Siwa Live Tour<\/i>, which offers a $900 Dream Guest VIP package that allows fans to curate the show\u2019s set list and grants them backstage access while the crew sets up the stage. Since then, she received online backlash for seemingly having fans pay to help build her concert stages. But Siwa is clearing up any misconceptions about the VIP packages.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would love to actually explain this for the people. We figured out how to do an experience that hasn\u2019t been done that often before,\u201d JoJo told PEOPLE, explaining that fans can be involved in setting up the show\u2019s stage \u201cif they want.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI kind of explain it like you’re my \u2018that city\u2019 bestie for the day. You\u2019re gonna be hanging out, it\u2019s gonna be fun. Like, we\u2019ll probably order some pizza if you want some pizza. It\u2019s just gonna be a ball. And then of course, you\u2019ll get to watch soundcheck. We\u2019ll do the normal Q&A, we\u2019ll do meet and greet,\u201d she added. Only 4 Dream Guest VIP packages are available in each city.<\/p>\n
She further clarified that fans are not building sets…<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s going to be this point in the show that is interchangeable every night and they\u2019re going to have their selection of what they want they want that part to be. So, those Dream Guest VIPs are going to be the ones who choose what that part of the show is.\u201d<\/p>\n
When the Gayety reporter jokingly asked if VIP fans need to bring \u201cpower tools\u201d to her shows, Siwa laughed. \u201cYeah no. God, no. I have been seeing (the rumors) on TikTok and I\u2019m like, you guys are crazy… I\u2019m like, people really think that low of me?\u201d<\/p>\n
