QVC fashion designer Lawrence Zarian<\/strong> will never forget the memories he made working with retired program host Mary Beth Roe<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMary Beth is a legend. She planted the seeds there,\u201d Zarian, 59, exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> at the 2025 GLAAD Media Awards on Thursday, March 27. \u201cEvery single thing she told me, I have written down.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Zarian\u2019s fashion line \u201cBEAUTIFUL by Lawrence Zarian<\/a>\u201d has only been on the shopping network for a year, the designer treasured selling fashion staples with a QVC veteran.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think my favorite Mary Beth moment was when I designed a beautiful dress. She was wearing the dress that I designed,\u201d he recalled. \u201cAs we were about to end the show, I said, \u2018Come here. Let me spin you.\u2019 And it\u2019s the first time she ever danced with anybody on QVC. To have that moment with her was magic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSome QVC shoppers can\u2019t help but make a connection with some of the network\u2019s products \u2014 and hosts. Over the years, viewers have developed close bonds with longtime program hosts who have a gift of selling everything from fashion and beauty products to food and electronics. Every so often, some of the program hosts decide [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On March 22, Roe said goodbye to QVC after 37 years in a celebratory show titled<\/a> My Time with Mary Beth \u2014 Retirement Celebration<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Before her retirement<\/a> officially kicked off, Roe explained to Us<\/i> why it was time for a new chapter.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have four grandkids, and I don\u2019t want to regret missing out on their lives because I spent another year or two working,\u201d she explained<\/a>. \u201cPlus, I always said to myself I will never leave my team until I feel like my team is strong and cohesive and just a great team of hosts, and it is right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on his experience sharing his fashion line with millions of home shoppers, Zarian can confirm that QVC is in good hands with a talented group of hosts.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have never been a part of a family in front of or behind the camera in this type of capacity where everybody wants you to win,\u201d he said from the Beverly Hilton hotel. \u201cWith QVC, there are so many designers. There are so many hosts. There\u2019s so many people wanting success, and we\u2019re all supporting each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roe isn\u2019t the first program host to bid farewell to QVC in recent months. Both Jennifer Coffey<\/a><\/strong> and Kerstin Lindquist<\/a><\/strong> recently said goodbye to the shopping network to pursue other projects and passions.<\/p>\n
