Paul Rudd<\/a> had an “awkward” first-ever meeting inside an airport lounge.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Jenna Ortega has recalled meeting her co-star in an airport lounge<\/p>\n
The 22-year-old actress and the 55-year-old actor recently worked together on ‘Death of a Unicorn’, the new comedy-horror film – but Jenna has revealed that their first-ever interaction was entirely unplanned and unexpected.<\/p>\n
Speaking to ‘Extra’, Jenna explained: “I was writing in my journal and we already knew we were doing the movie together, and I was doing \u2018Beetlejuice\u2019 and you were doing \u2018Ghostbusters\u2019 and we both were in London.”<\/p>\n
Paul added: “I saw you sitting there and I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, my God, I think we\u2019re gonna be working together on this thing pretty soon,’ and I went over and said hello, but I wasn\u2019t sure if it was you. <\/p>\n
“I walked over – I did that approach like, \u2018Is that…?’ Then I felt a little stalkery.”<\/p>\n
\nJenna recalled being caught off-guard by her co-star.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress shared: “I felt like you were standing there for a while because when I write, sometimes, if I don\u2019t know what to write and I kind of was getting to the end of my page anyway, I\u2019ll just write exactly what\u2019s happening in the moment, and I was like, \u2018Oh, this guy\u2019s been staring at the, you know, board for a really long time,\u2019 and then I looked up and it was Mr. Rudd.”<\/p>\n
\nPaul continued: “There was that moment where I\u2019m like, \u2018I think that\u2019s Jenna.\u2019 I haven\u2019t met her and you\u2019re in that awkward space where, like, I guess, I\u2019m gonna look at the departure board to make it – in case it\u2019s not \u2026 And then finally, you looked up.”<\/p>\n
\nDespite her own fame and success, Jenna recalled feeling a little “nervous” at the time.<\/p>\n
\nThe ‘Wednesday’ star said: “I was kind of nervous, I think, because it caught me off guard, and I was kind of in a weird place in my life, so I had a bit of a jump scare.”<\/p>\n
