Fans of Fire Country<\/span><\/i> are getting to dive even deeper into the show\u2019s universe with the <\/span>upcoming spinoff, <\/span>Sheriff Country<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/a> After the spinoff show was revealed, fans are wondering who will be included in the cast of <\/span>Sheriff Country<\/span><\/i>.\n<\/p>\n The official cast of Sheriff Country has not yet been announced. However, it\u2019s been confirmed that Morena Baccarin<\/strong> will reprise her role as Sheriff Mickey Fox for the spinoff.<\/p>\n Morena made her <\/span>Fire Country<\/span><\/i> debut<\/span><\/a> during season 2 when her character attended an awkward family reunion with her step-sister, Sharon Leone (played by <\/span>Diane Farr<\/b>), who is Cal Fire\u2019s division chief. It was revealed <\/span>during season 2 of <\/span>Fire Country<\/span><\/i><\/a>\u00a0that Mickey\u2019s chaotic upbringing led her to pursue a career in law enforcement. However, not much else is known about her past.<\/p>\n Prior to the spinoff, Mickey returned to Fire Country<\/em> for season 3 to further establish her character.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re still finding how Mickey comes back into our world, but it has to be organic and tied to Sharon, but tied to a little bit all of our characters and especially Bode [Max Thieriot<\/strong>],\u201d executive producer Tia Napolitano<\/strong> told TV Insider<\/em><\/a> on October 23, 2024. \u201cThere will be story purposes for why she\u2019s in our world and what we\u2019re giving her before we officially launch her for Sheriff Country episode 1. So it\u2019s very exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n The spinoff will also likely include appearances from Wes Fox (played by W. Earl Brown<\/strong>). Fans have gotten to see Mickey and Wes\u2019 complicated dynamic on Fire Country, and their relationship will be expanded on during the spinoff.<\/p>\n Sheriff Country will continue to take place in Edgewater and will focus on Mickey, a straight-shooting law enforcement officer.
