The now-62-year-old starred as Corky, a lesbian ex-con, alongside Jennifer Tilly as her lover. Gershon told the \u201cIt Happened in Hollywood\u201d podcast in the Tuesday, July 2, episode how her \u201csmall-minded\u201d agents were unhappy with her [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Her role on screen, of course, was just as fulfilling. Gershon noted that she \u201cloved\u201d working with Woo because he was open to hearing her ideas, making the experience ultimately feel more \u201ccollaborative.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cMy part wasn\u2019t really completely what it turned out to be, and I kept adding stuff here and there with the writer\u2019s permission,\u201d she explained. \u201cI said, \u2018Guys, can I just throw some stuff out?\u2019 And I would go [and] work on [it] a little bit, and I would show it to John and he would like it, or he didn\u2019t like a couple ideas, but at least I felt comfortable enough to throw it out there, and he would say yes or no.
