These include posts that are critical of companies like Amazon and Microsoft for their handling of <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/06\/06\/microsoft-settle-ftc-collecting-childrens-data\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">customer data<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FTC did not respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As FTC chair during the Biden years, Khan was known as a tough enforcer of antitrust law, seeking to hold mega-corporations accountable for their potential to stifle competition in American markets. In an interview with TechCrunch, she once referred to Big Tech leaders as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2024\/06\/11\/ftc-chair-lina-khan-says-the-agency-is-going-after-the-mob-bosses-in-big-tech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mob bosses<\/a>.\u201d But in the Trump era, the FTC is unlikely to be as vigilant about Big Tech.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deletion of these blogs could potentially violate laws on how government data is handled; meanwhile, the behavior is consistent with the Trump administration\u2019s ongoing campaign to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2025\/03\/07\/us\/trump-federal-agencies-websites-words-dei.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">remove certain words and phrases<\/a> from public and private government documents.
