Sean Lowe<\/strong><\/a> described surviving two horrifying dog attacks from his rescue boxer, Moose, in an Instagram<\/a> video posted on Monday, March 17. Alongside wife Catherine Giudici<\/strong><\/a>, The Bachelor<\/em> star, 41, recounted both incidents, which left him \u201cbleeding badly\u201d and required two separate trips to the emergency room.<\/span><\/p>\n Luckily when it all started, Catherine, 38, was at the mall with their three young kids Samuel<\/strong>, Isaiah<\/strong> and Mia<\/strong>. Sean was at home hanging out with friends and barbequing on Thursday, March 13, when he accidentally set off the smoke alarm, triggering Moose to become violent.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m going over to waft the smoke away from the smoke alarm, because the siren was insanely loud. And as I\u2019m holding the dish rag, Moose comes up and, like, bites it and kind of nips my finger really aggressively, which is something that he does not do. So, you know, I kind of gave him a, \u2018No Moose.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n With Moose growing more and more aggressive from the \u201cchaos\u201d of the scene, Sean attempted to control the dog with verbal commands, but to no avail. \u201cI give him like a very stern like, \u2018Moose. No. No.\u2019 And it was right about that moment where he shows his teeth at me and just attacks me \u2026 and I feel him just kind of ripping into the flesh of my arm.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Now in full fight mode, Sean added, \u201cAt this point, I am doing everything I possibly can just to fend this dog off.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The reality star<\/a>, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs about 220 pounds, managed to wrestle the dog out of the house and into the back yard, but Moose continued to press his attack and charged back through the door and into the house, ripping at his arms.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Sean expressed sincere shock at how his beloved dog could turn on him so viciously as Catherine wiped tears<\/a> from her eyes, seated next to him. \u201cI honestly just felt like I am fighting for my life here against a dog,\u201d he recounted. \u201cNot just a dog. My dog, right? Like, he\u2019s my dog. We\u2019ve only had him for a little under three months, but like he\u2019s my dog.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The cuts into Sean\u2019s arms were so deep, he remembered that his \u201cfirst thought\u201d was: \u201cI think that dog may have nicked an artery.\u201d His friends rushed him to the ER, where he received stitches to stop the bleeding in \u201cfive or six different places.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
