The 13th Annual Queerties Awards<\/a><\/strong> were handed out in a ceremony at The Avalon in Hollywood\u00a0on Tuesday. Bob the Drag Queen<\/a> hosted the ceremony, which celebrates the best in LGBTQ+ entertainment and media.\u00a0<\/p>\n RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0won for tops in reality TV (no real surprise there), and lots of\u00a0Drag Race<\/em>\u00a0alums took home awards. Sasha Colby <\/strong>was voted \u201cDrag Royalty\u201d (as she should be) and season 16\u2019s Plane Jane<\/strong> was named \u201cFuture All Star.\u201d <\/p>\n Pop open a diet Coke and celebrate Delta Work<\/strong>, whose \u201cVery Delta\u201d took top podcast honors and Alaska<\/strong>\u2019s show\u00a0Drag: The Musical<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>was voted the best of theater. Brennan Lee Mulligan<\/strong>\u2019s Dungeons and Drag Queens<\/a><\/em>\u00a0won Best Web Series, Detox<\/strong> received the \u201cComing Out for Good\u201d award and Luxx Noir London<\/strong> let it all hang out and won the \u201cBreakout Musical Artist\u201d award. And congrats go to Mama Ru<\/strong>, whose memoir\u00a0The House of Hidden Meanings<\/em>\u00a0won as the top read of the year. Congrats to all of the winners!\u00a0<\/p>\n
