Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a> star Monica Dan\u00fas<\/strong> ended up breaking off her engagement with Joey Leveille<\/strong><\/a> at the altar in the season 8 finale. The reunion showed fans that they were no longer on good terms, and it seems as though that\u2019s still the case.<\/p>\n Monica, 28, posted an Instagram Reel<\/a> on Wednesday, March 12, and she seemingly threw some shade at Joey, 35, with a reference from the popular book series A Court of Thorns and Roses<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cRemember when we all liked Tamlin in book one?\u201d Monica asked in the video. \u201cYeah, we wait for our Rhys \u2026 and Cassian.\u201d<\/p>\n The character Tamlin was the love interest of the female main character, Feyre, for the entirety of the first book, while the character Rhysand (Rhys) was seemingly the villain. However, things took a wild change in the second book, A Court of Mist and Fury<\/em>. In A Court of Mist and Fury<\/em>, Tamlin transformed into the villain while Rhys was revealed to be Feyre\u2019s true soulmate.<\/p>\n Author Sarah J. Maas<\/strong> shocked readers with the switch-up and the series has exploded in popularity over the years. When Joey and Monica visited Monica\u2019s family home, viewers saw the book series sitting on the shelves in her bedroom and suspected the reality star was a fan.<\/p>\n Monica\u2019s reference to Tamlin seemed to be aimed at Joey. Their relationship<\/a> appeared to be one of the sturdiest of Love Is Blind<\/em> season 8, but Monica revealed at the reunion that a few things happened that fans didn\u2019t see<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cA lot happens in a year, and you find a lot of things out in the year that you wish you would have known about in the moment,\u201d Monica said. \u201cThe truth always comes out, and I\u2019ve been hearing a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n Host Vanessa Lachey<\/strong> asked what she had heard and Monica replied, \u201cWell, when we were at Buck Hill, the tubing place, it was the very first day that everybody from the pods here came together. I found this out a month ago that next day or very, very shortly after \u2013 mind you, we [were] still engaged. I have a ring on my finger. I\u2019m sleeping next to this man. He slid into one of the other cast member\u2019s DMs after he saw her.\u201d<\/p>\n Monica added that she still \u201cdidn\u2019t know exactly what was said,\u201d she felt that the fact that Joey did that was a \u201cslap in the face.\u201d<\/p>\n While Joey admitted that he \u201creached out to a few people\u201d and said it was because he \u201cliked to check in,\u201d he revealed that the woman in question was Madison Errichiello<\/strong> and she confirmed that he did.<\/p>\n However, her recollection of the DM seemed flirtier than Joey\u2019s and said that it read, \u201cLoving the pink hair. Wish we could have talked more.\u201d<\/p>\n Monica then revealed that Joey had told her that Madison, 28, had been the one to \u201ccome onto him\u201d the couple of times they had run into one another at bars in Minneapolis. When she eventually approached Madison about the situation, they decided to pull Joey to the side, who then denied ever telling Monica that in the first place.<\/p>\n Fans quickly saw that Joey and Monica were never meant to be and it appears as though they officially ended things on a rough note.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
