Or could you at least get up and help? Load the dishwasher?\u2019\u201d he added.<\/p>\n As he recalled, Conan<\/strong>\u2018s pitch for the statue was quickly shot down by the Oscars team.<\/p>\n \u201c\u2019No, no no, that can\u2019t happen,\u2019\u201d they told him.<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the people from the Academy came forward and said, \u2018Oscar can never be horizontal,\u2019\u201d Conan<\/strong> explained. \u201cThat blew my mind. Like, wow, this is like the thigh bone of St. Peter.
