\t\t<\/p>\n Tom Holland<\/strong><\/a> has started filming his highly-anticipated new movie!<\/p>\n The 28-year-old Spider-Man<\/em> actor was seen aboard a large wooden ship alongside director Christopher Nolan<\/strong><\/a> as they filmed scenes for The Odyssey<\/strong><\/a><\/em> on Thursday (March 13) in the sea outside of Methoni, Greece.<\/p>\n While aboard the boat, Tom <\/strong>wore brown cloak over a wine-red tunic while Christopher<\/strong>, 54, was seen standing behind him and wearing a life vest.<\/p>\n The boat appeared to heading towards a castle on the edge of the sea with extras dressed up as Greek warriors.<\/p>\n Late last year, it was announced that the Oppenheimer <\/em>filmmaker will be making an adaptation of Homer<\/strong>\u2018s epic poem.<\/p>\n \u201cThe film brings Homer<\/strong>\u2019s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026,\u201d Universal Pictures previosuly announced.<\/p>\n The Odyssey<\/em> chronicles \u201cthe ten-year journey of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, back to his home after the fall of Troy,\u201d according to GoodReads<\/a>. Homer <\/strong>wrote it around the 8th or 7th century BC.<\/p>\n
