Kory Keefer<\/strong><\/a> confessed he didn\u2019t think his connection with Sam Feher<\/strong><\/a> would blossom into a relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cThe first time meeting her, hearing about [how] she had a whole roster of guys and stuff\u2026 I don\u2019t jump into things head first and be like, \u2018OK, we made out, that means, like, we have to be boyfriend [and] girlfriend?’\u201d the Bravo personality, 32, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Tuesday, April 25, while promoting season 7 of Summer House<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n The Winter House<\/em><\/a> star, who joined season 2 of the spinoff series in 2022, admitted he didn\u2019t know whether things would work out long-term with Sam, 25, because they lived in different states<\/a>. (Kory resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, while she is based out of New York City.)<\/p>\n \u201c[I thought] let\u2019s just kind of keep it super casual and not put any pressure on it,\u201d he confessed to Us<\/em>. \u201cAnd if it\u2019s a summer fling, awesome. I met a really cool girl, but I kind of wanna see how, you know, it goes after the summer ends.\u201d<\/p>\n As the pair began to spend more time together, their feelings developed<\/a> into a stronger bond.<\/p>\n \u201cAt first, I 100 percent thought it was gonna be, like, a little fling because we\u2019re very similar [with] having rosters and doing our own thing,\u201d Kory shared with Us<\/em>. \u201cSo I didn\u2019t want to have expectations, but the more weeks that we spent together, it kind of just progressed naturally and a little bit more serious.\u201d<\/p>\n Kory was initially tapped to make a cameo for one weekend<\/a> on Summer House<\/em>. As he connected with Sam, however, he returned for several trips<\/a> to the Hamptons and after filming wrapped in summer 2022, the couple continued to see each other. They didn\u2019t put a label on their relationship until recently.<\/p>\n Before finding love with Sam<\/a>, Kory had a whirlwind fling with Jessica Stocker<\/strong><\/a> while filming the second season<\/a> of Winter House<\/em> in early 2022. Despite their steamy connection, the twosome called things off<\/a> before the season premiered in the following fall.<\/p>\n \u201cMine and Jess\u2019 relationship was completely different,\u201d Kory explained to Us<\/em> on Tuesday, noting his contrasting dynamic<\/a> with his current partner. \u201cIt was kind of, like, a new thing \u2014 we were both on shows for the very first time, so we didn\u2019t really know how to react and she kind of was, like, going all in at first.\u201d<\/p>\n While things didn\u2019t work out for Kory and Jess, 26, the reality star admitted they \u201cended on good terms<\/a>\u201d and he wished her \u201cthe best.\u201d<\/p>\n
