Apple released patches<\/a> for a bug that it says \u201cmay have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals,\u201d citing a report.<\/p>\n The zero-day<\/a> bug was found in WebKit, the browser engine powering Safari and other apps, and allowed hackers to break out of WebKit\u2019s protective sandbox with \u201cmaliciously crafted web content,\u201d per Apple.
