The 45-year-old singer \u2013\u00a0whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith \u2013 shared a post on Instagram over the weekend featuring the women he is currently in a relationship with: Arielle Hill, Brionna Williams, a woman known as Cristina, and another who goes by Moneii.<\/p>\n
He said in his social media post: \u201cSince the world is so intrigued, I guess I should introduce my loves properly. LADIES AND GENTS I PRESENT MY PYRAMID.\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u2018Miss Independent\u2019 singer also asked followers to \u201csay something nice\u201d or \u201cmove on\u201d with their lives.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Because of You\u2019 artist also revealed each of his girlfriends has a nickname \u2013\u00a0Cristina is ‘Pretty Baby’. Moneii is ‘Phoenix Feather’, Williams is ‘Sexy Lil\u2019 Somethin\u2019’ and Hill is ‘Twin Flame’. <\/p>\n
\nHe concluded his post by exclaiming: \u201cWe happy over here.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAlthough this was Ne-Yo\u2019s first public confirmation of his polyamorous relationships, he had previously shared photos and videos with all four women over the past month. <\/p>\n
\nThree of them \u2013\u00a0Cristina, Moneii, and Hill \u2013\u00a0refer to each other as \u201cwives\u201d and run an Instagram account, @the.mrs.lefts, dedicated to their relationship with him. <\/p>\n
\nThe page includes photos of them together at events, holding hands and posing with Ne-Yo. <\/p>\n
\nBrionna, who is one of Ne-Yo\u2019s backup dancers, has only posted pictures with the singer.<\/p>\n
\nNe-Yo defended his lifestyle during a 20 February interview on the \u2018Rickey Smiley Morning Show\u2019, saying: \u201cI ain\u2019t manipulating nobody, I ain\u2019t brainwash nobody, I ain\u2019t lying to nobody. I set it out there. \u2018Here\u2019s what it is. I like you, but I also like her, and her, and her. If you cool with that, come on we gonna have a great time.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe added the relationship is based on honesty and consent, saying: \u201cI feel like I wasted a lot of time just being dishonest about things, to the point where had I taken this approach initially, I could\u2019ve saved myself a lot of headache and heartache.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBefore embracing polyamory, Ne-Yo was married to Crystal Renay from 2016 to 2022, and the former couple share three children\u2014 Shaffer Chimere Jr., eight, Roman Alexander-Raj, six, and three-year-old Isabella Rose. <\/p>\n
\nHe also has two children \u2013\u00a0Madilyn Grace, 14, and Mason Evan, 13 \u2013\u00a0with his ex Monyetta Shaw-Carter, and another two sons\u2014Braiden, three, and one-year-old Brixton \u2013\u00a0with ex Sade Jenea.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking about how his children reacted to his lifestyle, Ne-Yo said: \u201cIt\u2019s like, \u2018Hey, this is daddy\u2019s girlfriend. And so is that, and so is that, and so is that. She gonna make you some cereal, she gonna cook lunch and she gonna wash your clothes.\u2019 And it\u2019s all good.\u201d<\/p>\n
