Zeeko Zaki<\/strong> revealed OA and Gemma\u2019s relationship will be pushed to its limits on this week\u2019s episode of FBI<\/em><\/a> on what was supposed to be a stress-free weekend away.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt starts with me and Gemma, hopefully going on a lovely little vacation,\u201d Zaki, who plays special agent Omar Adom \u201cOA\u201d Zidan, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a>. \u201cIt is, of course, abruptly ruined by terrorists as most of the days [are] that OA lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zaki, 35, explained that before mayhem ensues on the Tuesday, March 11, episode, OA and Gemma (Comfort Clinton<\/strong>) are in a \u201creally good place\u201d in their relationship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The actor teased that the FBI<\/em> writers keep it \u201cvaguely\u201d unknown as to what OA\u2019s \u201cintentions with this trip\u201d are on a romantic front. However, Zaki explained, \u201cWe\u2019re definitely still in the honeymoon phase of our relationship and it gets tested pretty early on.\u201d<\/p>\n

OA\u2019s romance with Gemma was introduced during season 6 in 2024 but has only briefly been followed up on during season 7<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During \u201cHitched,\u201d which airs on Tuesday, OA and Gemma vow to leave work at home in New York as OA whisks Gemma away to an unknown destination by train.<\/p>\n

Despite his best efforts, Zaki told Us<\/em>, their weekend plans go off the rails (perhaps literally) when masked men hijack the train. Without his service weapon, OA and Gemma have to get creative with how they hope to stop the hijackers\u2019 plan while on board the moving vehicle.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe definitely gets clicked into his military sort of, you know, work mindset to solve this problem,\u201d Zaki said, noting that as the hijackers\u2019 escalate their actions it puts pressure on OA and Gemma\u2019s connection.<\/p>\n

Zaki teased, \u201cIt becomes very personal, very emotional, very heavy,\u201d adding, \u201cIt was a very intense sort of arc to play inside of one episode.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor, however, shared that all the intense moments are part of a \u201clittle love story to action movies\u201d and the movie and TV genre as a whole.<\/p>\n

Zaki noted that there is even a \u201cclassic sort of movie moment\u201d between OA and Gemma that he said, \u201cMakes the end sort of so great.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Zaki played coy about OA and Gemma\u2019s fate after the intense episode, he told Us<\/em>, \u201cWe\u2019ve earned another appearance from [Gemma]\u201d after her performance.<\/p>\n

When it comes to FBI\u2019s<\/em> other favorite couple Stuart Scola (John Boyd<\/strong>) and Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten<\/strong><\/a>), Zaki said he\u2019s just like Us<\/em> and wants a crossover wedding<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey do have a child together, so I think that\u2019s kind of the natural way for that to go,\u201d Zaki explained, referring to Scola and Nina\u2019s son, Dougie. He added that he has \u201cno idea\u201d if fans will see a wedding \u201cthis season or not.\u201d<\/p>\n
