DDG wants to reach an agreement with Halle Bailey<\/p>\n
The former couple split in October and the rapper – whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. – wants to spend more time with 15-month-old Halo, but would rather not take the matter to court.<\/p>\n
In a livestream shared to YouTube over the weekend, he said: \u201cI don\u2019t want to go to court. It\u2019s going to get extremely messy and it don\u2019t have to happen. I think it\u2019s in her best interest to not want to go to court either, where we can just have a clear understanding.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe go to court, the judge is going to give me some time. And when I got the time, I\u2019m gonna do whatever I want with my son.<\/p>\n
“I don\u2019t want to go to court because it\u2019s going to make her unhappy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe 27-year-old rapper has shared a song called ‘Don’t Take My Son’ and explained he was moved to pen the track out of frustration and annoyance over his desire to see Halo.<\/p>\n
\nThe lyrics of the song include: \u201cDon\u2019t take my son \/ \u2018Cause he all I got \/ Trying to make me pay to see my son \/ That going to make me hot.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe explained in the livestream: \u201cI just don\u2019t want it to come to the point where he\u2019s like, \u2018Alright, my pops not around’. That\u2019s my main thing. I was more frustrated and annoyed than anything.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019ve been dealing with this s*** for a long time. I never spoke on it for the simple fact that I don\u2019t like putting y\u2019all in my real life business but I\u2019m like, \u2018Okay, I don\u2019t know what else to do.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn November, Halle, 25, slammed her former partner for broadcasting their baby on his livestream shortly after they had separated.<\/p>\n
\nShe posted on X : \u201cI don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. I wasn’t told or notified and i am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe ‘Little Mermaid’ actress then deleted her account on the social media platform.<\/p>\n
