Or a friend\u2019s current mistake, if we\u2019re being honest. And it\u2019s perfectly okay to avoid things that remind you of someone who\u2019s made your life worse!<\/p>\n<p>Justin Timberlake certainly wronged Britney Spears. This isn\u2019t a song that the two once danced to \u2014 this is a song by her ex-boyfriend. The public fury at him was righteous and intense.<\/p>\n<p>However, Britney herself has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/01\/britney-spears-apology-selfish-justin-timberlake\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shown Justin a lot of grace<\/a>. Just because she has discussed her lived experiences does not mean that she is not a forgiving person. For better or for worse.<\/p>\n<p>So yes, maybe Britney was throwing Justin a bone. Or maybe she was just rocking out to a song, no matter who sang it.
