And by about 10:30, the song comes on, and suddenly the wedding becomes about me getting out and dancing. People will literally form a circle around me and clap their hands like I\u2019m a trained monkey.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Kevin tells DJs to resist the temptation to play &#8216;Footloose&#8217;, Kenny Loggins&#8217; 1984 song that features in the movie.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe explained: &#8220;It\u2019s not because I don\u2019t love the song, I do love this song. It\u2019s not because I\u2019m not proud of the movie, I\u2019m 100 percent proud of it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nKevin previously claimed that it took years for him to earn respect as an actor in Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe movie star suggested that appearing in Oliver Stone\u2019s 1991 drama \u2018JFK\u2019 was a pivotal moment in his career.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe told NME: &#8220;I was kind of spinning my wheels career-wise at that point, having been to the top of the mountain in Hollywood with \u2018Footloose\u2019. But I was kind of sliding back down the other side. And that gave me an opportunity to redefine my career in a way that was really much more true to who I am.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;People said, \u2018Wow, I never thought I\u2019d see you do that!\u2019 Of course, for me and for the people that actually knew me it was not a surprise, because I\u2019d been doing a lot of theatre. And I\u2019ve been doing, you know, crazy offbeat characters for a really long time.
