the high school basketball coach<\/a> said during episode 13. \u201cShe\u2019s, like, one in a million. Just a smart, loving, kind human being, but also, on the outside she is very beautiful. She has the most stunning smile and her little dimples, and she\u2019s my queen. I\u2019m ready to spend my life with her.\u201d<\/p>\nDevin\u2019s mom, Becky, and sister Kayla came into Virginia\u2019s dressing room while she was getting ready and they were excited to welcome her to the family. His mom even told Devin that the healthcare recruiter seemed \u201chappy and confident.\u201d A little while later, Virginia began tearing up but her family seemed to chalk it up to pre-wedding jitters.<\/p>\n
When the couple stood at the altar, Devin explained that he fell in love with Virginia \u201cbecause of her heart\u201d and when he was asked if he took her to be his wife, he said, \u201cI do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, Virginia wasn\u2019t on the same page.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love you so much,\u201d Virginia said with tears streaming down her face. \u201cBut I\u2019m just not ready. I\u2019m just not ready.\u201d<\/p>\n
As Devin began to cry, Virginia continued to apologize and then walked back down the aisle where she hugged her mom and cried. Devin\u2019s sister Kayla could be heard saying that she \u201cjust didn\u2019t understand these girls,\u201d while another man said that Devin \u201cdidn\u2019t deserve it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<\/div>

Later, Devin said, \u201cThe worst thing that could have happened happened, and I just feel kind of lost. I don\u2019t understand why.\u201d<\/p>\n
After leaving the ceremony, Virginia tried to explain the reasoning behind her decision.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel sad, I feel really bad that I hurt Devin and his family. I think in a lot of our relationship, I wanted to protect Devin,\u201d Virginia shared with the Love Is Blind<\/em> producers. \u201cIt was important for me to protect Devin, and I don\u2019t know if that\u2019s a cultural thing, but it\u2019s always been important for me to protect him, so there were topics that even he didn\u2019t want to talk about, like politics. You know what I mean? There were just certain things he just didn\u2019t want me to push on. So, there were just depths of our relationship that we didn\u2019t get to.\u201d<\/p>\nShe added that \u201ceven with their sexual relationship,\u201d it was an aspect she didn\u2019t feel like they had fully gotten to explore when it came to their compatibility.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just think we should be all the way there before we decide to spend the rest of our lives together,\u201d Virginia concluded.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
