The monarch, 76, offers listeners a unique musical journey through his personal tastes and experiences. <\/p>\n

Charles \u2013 also head of the Commonwealth \u2013 has curated a special playlist in \u2018The King\u2019s Music Room\u2019, a show featuring artists spanning decades, from 1930s singers to contemporary stars such as Kylie Minogue, Bob Marley<\/a>, Grace Jones, and RAYE. <\/p>\n

His show, created to commemorate Commonwealth Day on 10 March, will be available for free on Apple Music 1 from 1 a.m. EST on March 10.<\/p>\n

Opening the broadcast, Charles shares his deep connection to music, saying: \u201cThroughout my life, music has meant a great deal to me. I know that is also the case for so many others. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cIt has that remarkable ability to bring happy memories flooding back from the deepest recesses of our memory, to comfort us in times of sadness, and to take us to distant places.\u201d <\/p>\n

\nHe added: \u201cBut perhaps, above all, it can lift our spirits to such a degree, and all the more so when it brings us together in celebration. In other words, it brings us joy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nApple Music has described the playlist as a reflection of Charles\u2019 personal taste, shaped by his extensive experiences across the globe. <\/p>\n

\nThe show, which also includes artists from across the Commonwealth, features anecdotes from Charles \u2013 who is battling an undisclosed form of cancer \u2013 about his meetings with various musicians and the songs that hold personal significance to him. <\/p>\n

\nRachel Newman, Apple Music\u2019s global head of content and editorial, said in a statement: \u201cHuman curation has always been a key pillar of our unique editorial approach. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cApple Music Radio is where culture is happening worldwide, and we are honored that King Charles III chose to share his personal playlist with us, and with music fans around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nCharles is not the first member of the royal family to collaborate with Apple. <\/p>\n

\nPrince William, 41, recorded the Apple Fitness+ podcast \u2018Time to Walk\u2019, which gave listeners a glimpse into his family life as he took them around Norfolk. <\/p>\n

\nCharles also visited Apple\u2019s headquarters in Battersea, London, in December 2024.<\/p>\n
