Kris Jenner is not happy with Khloe Kardashian going into therapy<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old reality star first began seeing a counsellor when her marriage to Lamar Odom broke down and though most of her family think her seeing another therapist now is a good idea, her mom doesn’t agree.<\/p>\n
Speaking to sister Kourtney, she said in the latest episode of ‘The Kardashians’: “Mom is not happy.”<\/p>\n
The 45-year-old star responded: “Why? If only she would go.”<\/p>\n
Khloe replied: “She won\u2019t, but she\u2019s not thrilled with me.”<\/p>\n
\nKourtney believed Kris was likely worried her relationship with Khloe could change as a result of the sessions, having seen the impact it had between them when she sought professional guidance.<\/p>\n
\nIn a confessional, she said: “Maybe my mom saw the reaction that I had with her about therapy, and maybe she’s like, \u2018Not the other two! Kourtney is just coming around the corner being nice to me again.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n
\nKhloe – who was encouraged to attend therapy by sister Kim Kardashian, who has also been seeking help, and her friend Malika Haqq – explained that Kris “just thinks that I have complex PTSD” in part for being left “alone with the kids”, having helped care for her younger half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, now 29 and 27, when they were growing up.<\/p>\n
\nKourtney noted: \u201cI saw somebody say you were parentified, like made to be like a parent when you’re not a parent.”<\/p>\n
\nKhloe confirmed: \u201cThat’s why I always take care of people…<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy therapist sort of told me one of the reasons why I want to take care of other people so badly is because I got attention and recognition when I was doing like adult-like things. like taking care of my sisters, dropping them off at school.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cLiterally I take better care of other people than I do of me. For sure.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Good American co-founder – who has children True, eight, and Tatum, two, with former partner Tristan Thompson – later confessed she hadn’t seen her therapist in three weeks.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cShe’s like, \u2019I feel like you\u2019re not taking this seriously.\u2019 I’m like, \u2018Lady, I’m fine.\u2019 She’s like, ‘Well, you\u2019re gonna make time for things you want to make time for.’<\/p>\n
\n\u201cNow I’m being bullied to see my therapist. Of course I\u2019m gonna go see her because I’m a people pleaser, so I’m gonna go see her.\u201d<\/p>\n
