For Jessica Simpson<\/strong><\/a>, being able to wear a bikini<\/a> is an \u201cemotional\u201d experience. After more than 100-pound weight gains during her three pregnancies, she\u2019s so proud of regaining her bikini body<\/a>.<\/p>\n On April 7, 2022, Jess shared an Instagram selfie in a tiny pink printed two-piece<\/a> with the caption, \u201cI have gained and lost 100 lbs<\/a> 3x so I never thought this moment could or would happen, but I\u2019m finally spring breakin\u2019 wearin\u2019 a BIKINI!!!!!!\u201d She chalked up her success to \u201c\u201dhard work,\u201d \u201cdetermination\u201d and \u201cself-love\u201d and admitted, \u201cI enjoyed a good proud cry today\u201d over her accomplishment\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI believe in setting small goals for yourself because in my life and how I\u2019ve done it. There\u2019s easy ways to throw in the towel and just feel like it\u2019s impossible,\u201d Jessica revealed during an April 18 appearance on\u00a0The Real<\/em> about how she was able to lose more than 100 pounds three separate times. \u201cSo, the small goals for me are what helped me achieve the main goal.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBeing in a bikini was never my main goal. I mean, I did that in my 20s,\u201d she explained. Jess then shared how she didn\u2019t even plan on bringing a bikini along on her family\u2019s mid-April spring break trip to Mexico. \u201cI literally brought bathing suits on that trip without trying on a bikini, because I thought I was just going to be in a one-piece.\u201d<\/p>\n In the end, she decided to give a bikini a try and it fit her to perfection. \u201cWhen I put that two-piece on, I got super emotional, and I was like, \u2018I did this, it happened,’\u201d she recalled. \u201cSo, it was just, like, in the moment, and I wanted to share it with everyone because I was very proud of myself for doing what at times felt completely impossible,\u201d about her Instagram bikini selfie.<\/p>\n Jessica and her husband, Eric Johnson<\/strong><\/a>, share three children. Daughter Maxwell<\/a> was born in 2012, and her little brother, Ace Knute<\/a>, came along the following year. The entrepreneur showed off her body post-babies in several one-pieces but gradually became more confident with how she looked in a bikini. For her 36th birthday, Jessica shared a photo wearing just a pair of bottoms while topless atop a floatie in her backyard to show off how fine she looked after two children.<\/p>\n The singer had a difficult third pregnancy with daughter Birdie Mae<\/a>, who arrived in March 2019. While Jessica proudly showed off her 100-pound weight loss the following fall in belted dresses<\/a> and later skinny jeans<\/a>, it took her until April 2022 to feel confident enough to rock a bikini once again!<\/p>\n
