L.A. baby! Charlie Sheen<\/strong><\/a> and Denise Richards<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 oldest daughter, Sami Sheen<\/strong><\/a>, has always been in the spotlight \u2014 and now she\u2019s making headlines for her grown up choices.<\/p>\n The Anger Management<\/em> alum and the Love Actually<\/em> actress welcomed Sami in 2004<\/a>, nearly two years after tying the knot in June 2002. The pair expanded their family the following year when daughter Lola was born.<\/p>\n While the duo split in 2006<\/a>, Richards fondly remembers how she and Charlie began their family.<\/p>\n \u201cI actually like all of his movies. I think he\u2019s a great actor,\u201d the Real Girl Next Door<\/em> author told Andy Cohen<\/strong> in May 2020<\/a> when asked about her ex-husband. \u201cThe first movie that I saw, my dad took me to see, was Platoon<\/em> when I was younger. So I like all his movies.\u201d<\/p>\n Cohen questioned whether Richards liked Scary Movie 5<\/em> \u2014 Charlie starred in Scary Movie 3<\/em>, 4<\/em> and 5<\/em> \u2014 to which she said yes. \u201cYeah, that\u2019s actually where we conceived our daughter,\u201d Richards confessed. \u201cFour or 5,\u201d she said, struggling to remember which of the sequels\u2019 sets the act occurred on.<\/p>\n The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a> alum revealed during an April 2020 episode of the Bravo series that she had tried to shield their girls from all of Charlie\u2019s ups and downs. \u201cEven though he\u2019s Charlie Sheen, that is still, to them, their dad,\u201d Richards said. \u201cI never talk badly about him and I want him to be part of their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n While the exes appeared to have a good coparenting dynamic, things changed in late 2021<\/a> when Sami claimed that she felt \u201ctrapped\u201d while living with Richards. Charlie later confirmed that his eldest child had moved in with him<\/a> amid tension with her mother.<\/p>\n \u201cCharlie is the good time dad, and well, rules and curfew aren\u2019t really set in stone,\u201d a source exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in September 2021. \u201cAnd that is why Sami went to live with her dad.\u201d<\/p>\n Richards revealed in February 2022 that she and Sami were still navigating their relationship<\/a> after she started living with her father full-time. \u201cObviously, I would love for her to live with me,\u201d the actress said on an episode of the \u201cJeff Lewis Has Issues\u201d podcast. \u201cShe lived with me all these years, but I think it\u2019s very difficult raising teenagers these days, especially in Los Angeles.\u201d<\/p>\n Three months later, the mother-daughter pair appeared to be back on good terms<\/a> after they spent Mother\u2019s Day together. \u201cDenise and Sami reconnected within the last month,\u201d a source exclusively told Us<\/em> in May 2022. \u201cThey are getting along very well.\u201d<\/p>\n
