Denzel Washington<\/strong><\/a> co-stars with Dakota Fanning<\/strong><\/a> in the third and final film in The Equalizer<\/em> series. <\/p>\n The pair co-starred together in 2004′s Man on Fire<\/em>. Denzel<\/strong> portrayed John Creasy, a former CIA SAD\/SOG officer turned bodyguard, who goes on a revenge rampage after his charge, nine-year-old Lupita “Pita” Ramos (Dakota Fanning<\/strong>), is abducted in Mexico City. <\/p>\n In The Equalizer 3<\/em>, the 68-year-old Oscar-winning actor plays retired U.S. Marine and former DIA officer Robert McCall while Dakota<\/strong>‘s role is currently unclear.<\/p>\n “Police found multiple dead bodies in that farm in Sicily,” Dakota<\/strong>‘s character says to McCall. “Did you kill them?”<\/p>\n “Do I look like a killer?” McCall says as he laughs. <\/p>\n The film is directed by Antoine Fuqua<\/strong><\/a>, who previously worked with Denzel on Training Day<\/em> (2001), The Equalizer<\/em> (2014), The Magnificent Seven<\/em> (2016), and The Equalizer 2<\/em> (2018).<\/p>\n The Equalizer 3<\/em> is set to be released on September 1, 2023.<\/p>\n Denzel<\/strong> is currently in talks to join Paul Mescal<\/strong> in the upcoming sequel<\/a> to 2000 blockbuster Gladiator<\/em>.<\/p>\n
