But given his admitted history of substance abuse and addiction, this seems like a red flag. <\/p>\n<p>To fans, at least. (We here at <em>THG <\/em>do not claim to be leaf psychics and cannot identify what he may be smoking)<\/p>\n<p>As you can see below, Bieber wasn\u2019t just smoking by happenstance in the background. And, if he <em>is <\/em>smoking marijuana, that\u2019s perfectly legal for recreational use for more than half of Americans. <\/p>\n<p>Whether someone has a marijuana prescription for medical reasons or is self-medicating or simply unwinding, smoking marijuana is just fine unless it impacts others in a negative way. <\/p>\n<p>Bieber isn\u2019t driving in this video. He\u2019s blowing puffs of thick smoke against the phone camera, not into the face of a baby or a nursing home patient or a dog. He does not appear to be hurting anyone. Various reports have alleged that he believed that becoming a husband (and now father) would \u201cfix\u201d him. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/01\/justin-hailey-bieber-unfollow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Potential red flags<\/a> have made it appear that his state of mind has suffered as a result.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">what happened to justin bieber? this is actually concerning\u2026. \ud83d\ude2d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/1EAE6ku8WH\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/1EAE6ku8WH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 . (@selovelenaa) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/selovelenaa\/status\/1894581944609816895?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">February 26, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Obviously, using marijuana (or simply appearing to) does not mean that he\u2019s abusing the plant or any other drug. <\/p>\n<p>But given his history of behavioral struggles and substance abuse, it\u2019s understandable that fans would fear the worst.<\/p>\n<p>In general, a lot fans read too much into a famous person <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/02\/justin-bieber-public-appearance-worries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">looking worse for wear<\/a>.
