The camera cuts to some <em>Aviator<\/em> folks, alongside <strong>Gisele B\u00fcndchen<\/strong>. Does he make a joke about her putting on weight to play Bridget Jones? Yes, but in a clever way. (\u201cNext year she\u2019s putting on 80 pounds to play Deacon Jones.\u201d)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">Zellweger won supporting actress the previous year, so it\u2019s her duty to present supporting actor. She reads the nominees and in so doing, reminds me that <strong>Jamie Foxx<\/strong> was a double nominee that night! He of course was nominated in lead for <em>Ray<\/em>, but he also got a supporting nod for <em>Collateral<\/em>, which is a lead performance, but whatever. Category fraud is eternal. Zellweger opens the envelope and says <strong>Morgan Freeman<\/strong>\u2019s name. His fellow nominees\u2014Foxx, Alan Alda, <strong>Clive Owen<\/strong> (<em>Closer<\/em>), and <strong>Thomas Haden Church<\/strong> (<em>Sideways<\/em>)\u2014don\u2019t look too disappointed.
