Chris Pratt has contracted a lung infection after the births of three of his children because of a celebratory ritual with father-in-law Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chris Pratt had a lung infection from cigar smoking<\/p>\n

The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star – who has 12-year-old Jack with first wife Anna Faris<\/a> and Lyla, four, Eloise, two, and three-month-old Ford with spouse Katherine Schwarzenegger – suffers from asthma but despite the health implications, has felt “pressure” to join the ‘Terminator’ legend in smoking a cigar after welcoming a new baby into the world.<\/p>\n

Speaking to guest host Claudia Winkleman on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, he said: “[Arnold] is a big cigar smoker \u2013 he’s always smoking one on set, in his car, and in my living room.<\/p>\n

“When we have a baby, he shows up with a Cuban cigar. I have asthma so I should not ever smoke cigars, but I do because I feel pressure from Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/a>. <\/p>\n

“So, every time I have a child, I have a cigar and about a week later I have a lung infection. It’s a nice little ritual we have.”<\/p>\n

\nThe 45-year-old actor can next be seen in ‘The Electric State’ but admitted it was only due to Katherine’s intervention that he took on the project because he was ready for a break.<\/p>\n

\nHe said: “It is epic with truly stunning imagery. <\/p>\n

\n“I had wanted to turn it down because I’d just finished a busy season of work and had been away for a while. <\/p>\n

\n“We have four kids, so I wanted to take an extended period off but when my wife read the script, she said I had to do it. She either really loves me or she actually just wanted me out of the house again.”<\/p>\n

\nChris recently spoke about his baby son and explained the youngster is “really chill”.<\/p>\n

\nSpeaking on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’, he said: “He\u2019s a really, really chill baby.<\/p>\n

\n“He\u2019s sleeping. I sleep through the whole night but Mama\u2019s breastfeeding so she\u2019s up every couple of hours but he is really chilled<\/p>\n

\n“He\u2019s not colicky or anything, he\u2019s not super loud. He\u2019s got this look on his face at all times that I just call resting bewilderment face.<\/p>\n

\n“He\u2019s like this. Like everything he sees, he\u2019s like, \u2018Yes, this is great!’ He’s great. He just gets so excited to communicate.”<\/p>\n
