\t\t<\/p>\n Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power<\/strong><\/a> <\/em>is adding two new faces for the show\u2019s upcoming third season!<\/p>\n It was just revealed that Jamie Campbell Bower<\/strong><\/a> and Eddie Marsan<\/strong><\/a> will be joining the cast of the Prime Video<\/strong><\/a> series, according to Deadline<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n Per Amazon MGM Studios, the new season is currently in pre-production and is set to begin filming this spring!<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Here\u2019s a synopsis: Jumping forward several years from the events of Season 2, Season 3 takes place at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron, as the Dark Lord seeks to craft the One Ring that will give him the edge he needs to win the war and conquer all Middle-earth at last.<\/p>\n While not much is known about Jamie<\/strong>\u2018s role, he will be a series regular, and Deadline<\/em> reports the character is \u201cdescribed as a handsome high-born knight (code name Arlen) in casting information that has been circulated around,\u201d and could be a potential new love interest for Morfydd Clark<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s Galadriel. <\/p>\n Eddie<\/strong> will have a recurring part, and the character (code name Dromm) apparently has a brother. The part, per Deadline<\/em>, reportedly requires a Scottish accent and he could be playing a dwarf. <\/p>\n Earlier this month, it was confirmed the show would get a third season.
